Hi
I just finished a step by step guide on setting up an Open Source Digital Audio Workstation, it resembles the documentation I wish I had several years ago when I first started learning how to make music with OSS. The skill level is about beginner to intermediate. Ubuntu Studio, Ardour, Rosegarden, MIDI and Hydrogen are some of the topics covered.
I hope that others starting out will find it useful.
Big up to all the hard working OSS developers that make an OSS DAW possible!

Hi, OSS is an old acronym for a semi-defunct linux audio system.
People will mis-interpret the title of your topic, skip reading
the body of your message, and miss out on your very excellent presentation, at least in the short run. I would suggest using
a different acronym, and start a new topic, to insure the maximum number of people know something special is at hand. Thanks for the hard work of compiling the information. It will surely help windoze refugees, and new computer users getting familiar with linux!

I agree with sgx. When I first red the topic my association was at Open Sound System. And I was little confused: why that now?
But, I red the post, and saw your site.
I suggest, as sgx said, that you use FLOSS acronym.
