Open Office, or Libre Office offer built it "convert to PDF".

If you're looking for a way to convert a webpage to PDF, and are using Firefox, then try the "printpdf" add-on.

Here's another idea....http://www.liberiangeek.net/2011/04/print-pdf-printer-ubuntu-11-04-natty-narwhal/

Printing to file is on by default in Ubuntu. Hit ctrl+p and select 'Print to file' as the printer.

Howdy,

It is the cups-pdf service that creates PDF files. Doing a Print to File usually creates a Postscript file which can be converted to PDF using ps2pdf.

Used to be, but it seems like printing to PDF is now the default. Before that you could still choose PDF as an output file.
