View Full Version : Support for Lighttpd?

Will there be support for lighttpd in the future? I absolutely love your project and am running it on my server. It's just that I would like to run lighttpd instead to keep the memory consumption to a minimum.

Thanks for your hard work on this great project!

I agree Lighttpd support would be nice since apache just eats a good chunk of my ram.

one member has posted a how to for other web servers, I am not sure if lighttpd reads the .htaccess files or how authentication works but I would look at this tutorial:

I installed Ubuntu Center (Or, Hive) on Dapper running Lighttpd. It runs great, except for the fact that there is no login anymore. It doesn't ask me to login with a username and password, it just goes right to it. It doesn't matter for me, it's only for personal use anyway. Just thought I would throw that out there.

I have never honestly used lighttpd so I have no clue how the authentication system works, or if their even is an authentication system. I will look into it for the upcoming releases
