Buying Ubuntu forum

Can we have a section of the forum for all the people asking what to buy, i know we have a market place but that does not seem to be for buying advice just advertising.

Seems lots of people want to know what laptop, what graphics card etc they should get and will it work with Ubuntu, so why not a place to ask about this stuff :)

Isn't hardware support good for that? If there's a well prepared list of supported hardware, you could ask a moderator to make it sticky on that forum. Just an opinion.

I think its too dynamic for that to work, nice as it would be. I think this needs to be done OR the market place given a shake up to make it a buying and selling place not just an adverts list :)

I still think a sticky on a existing forum would be nicer, since more people will notice it. But, again, this is just an opinion, since someone with more experience on forums can clear me out on this.
