Mouse going super slow? Please help.

Hello :)

I have a Microsoft Wireless Mobile Mouse 1000. The transceiver is plugged into one of my three USB ports.

With Windows the mouse works perfectly fine. However, on Linux the mouse is laggy and unresponsive? I'm

thinking it's a driver problem? I don't know, really. Please help me. Thanks :)

Did you check the area around the laser opening for dust, hairs, etc? Foreign material will cause the input to become erratic. ;)

I have the same problem. Bought a brand new Logitech mouse (M510) and the behaviour is totally erratic. Sometimes the mouse works for a while ok, then is freezes for a few seconds or doesn't respond properly.

I'm running 11.04 and the only thing I can see that is different between the mouse that has the problem and my old one is that the new mouse uses the Unifying receiver, while the old one is identified as cordless
