thumbdrive failure

My Lexar 4gb thumbdrive died on me; it won't register anywhere.

Possible cause was putting it into an old computer that isn't maintained all that well.

I tried forced air, contact cleaner, and even bending the contacts so they would work better, and no dice.

Is there a plan? There's some stuff on the drive I can't replace, which is why I walked around with it on my keychain for years.
