How do you change the default file manager from Thunar to Nautilus is such a way that --no-desktop is used when starting nautilus? I have changed so that Nautilus is used by default but not with --no-desktop

Why change it? Thunar is a fine file manager...... if your networking you need to install " gfvs-backends ".

I think Thunar does, but the documentation is slow to change and you can't yet bookmark network locations (which is probably the feature you're looking for).
