hi, i thought it would be nice for all users, to have a program, which automatically configures all used hardware perfectly (needed packages, deamons, config of config-files,...) after an installation of ubuntu. for example, enable all possible power saving features of you specific device...

i have posted this idea here. http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com/idea/28809/

the benefit of such a program:
one click, and all your hardware is configured, as it should be. compare for example a macbook with osx (perfect config) with an out-of-the-box ubuntu install.
