not sure where to put this:
i got this intel computer and was trying to figure out how to connect the vga cables but then realized that it does not give me the option to i believe.
it shows a male vga output and one input for a monster like cable
no female vga cable on the mother board
it has a gaming card attached to it and i have a vga adapter for it but when i connect it nothing shows...
any idea of how i can make the screen show?

My guess is that you are missing a cable (or adapter) that came with the card.

I've seen a few cards like that. Instead of having two outputs, they have one unusual output that connects to a special cable that has two ends, each equivalent to a vga (or DVI) output. This (http://accessories.dell.com/sna/productdetail.aspx?c=us&l=en&s=corp&sku=320-0190) in an example.

Try to look for the cable on the packaging.

Hope it helps,
Regard.

Post a picture of the back of your computer where all the I/O ports and cards are.

I don't see a video port in that picture but is that the whole picture?

Are there any video cards installed in the slots at the back, maybe post a pic. The pc might require a video card.

Open the side of the case and write down all the details wriiten on the MB and post here.
