Any Sun Fire X2100 success stories?

I only found one thread on here relating to the Sun Fire line of Opteron servers and it didn't say anything other than that it seems to work.

I'm hoping that by new there are a few people who have done the install and can verify that hardware is all detected properly and that there are no problems when running the system.

I'm trying to choose between the Sun Fire X2100 and the IBM xSeries 3xx, which I have more experience with.

Did you have a problem with the ethernet ports mixed up? I am plugged into port 2 in the back but ubuntu ifconfig reports I am on port 3.

Fixed my problem and I am now reporting no problems with x2100.

Can't say I've worked on an X2100 but I put about 5-6 X4200's in place last year. Rock solid, fast, and cool running. A bit noisy but they are in a data center so it doesnt matter.
