Hello,
I desperately need help finding an event-planning website that is easy to use by people with visual impairment. By event planning, I mean a site where I can register our event, and attendees can log on to register themselves and pay, if applicable.
I have no experience with this, and the event will be getting our state's legistlative branch familiar with issues pertaining to persons with disabilities; many of the attendees will have visual disability, yet will still need to be able to register online for the event.
Last year, we used eventbrite.com, and found problems with the "form labels" and also there was no info in their site's help forum on service accessibility for persons with disabilities. I know WAVE software can evaluate sites, but I couldn't get it to download. I have no idea what a "form label" is, only that it was problematic for our participants.
Any help on an actual site that is considerate of visually-impaired users would be a godsend. Conversely, and info on how to evaluate a website, or any pointers on who may be able to answer my question would be so good as well.
Thanks so much for your time and attention,
Thea D.
