Hi

Is it possible to have the enable wireless on at startup without the need to click enable wireless and without having to enter the security password?

So annoying having to do it.

Also is it possible to just turn off the password. More than me use this laptop so would like it so that anyone can use it without having to tell everyone the password. Might have to create another thread for this second part.

Ubuntu 10.10

If you open network manager go to edit connections, select wireless, then your network click edit tab mark the radio buttons connect automaticaly and the 1 down the bottom all users

Ah didn't see the button at bottom to allow all users. Cheers

However I already had the connect automatically checked. But this only lets the wireless connect to my network once the enable wireless has been selected. I want this to be enabled when it starts up and not have to go check the box all the time.
