Windows XP and Chrome (it's my work computer).

The Fedora forums have indicators for the OS and browser used and I love the one they made for somebody running Windows 8... a stinking pile of poo!

Otherwise I use ChromeOS (which is the OS and the browser), or Firefox on Fedora (14 KDE) or Firefox on Ubuntu (10.04 or 11.04).

How are you liking the FreeBDS? I want to try it on a partition (I have the image for FreeBDS 8 sitting on my harddrive), but I'm a little intimidated by the installation process. CLI, I can handle, but I'm a little worried that my normal commands won't be there if something goes unexpectedly.

I also don't have access to a wired connection, which tends to make these things all the more tricky, and I noticed there don't seem to be any wifi config tools on the install image.

I am quite enjoying FreeBSD. I am loving the ports system. :)

You should try it under a virtual machine first to get comfortable with it before installing it on production hardware (at least that is what I did).

As for WiFi FreeBSD has wpa_supplicant inbuilt so I just followed the wireless section in the handbook to get wireless working (http://www.freebsd.org/doc/handbook/network-wireless.html). Also actually make sure your wireless chipset is supported. Here is my wireless chipset in my laptop which works fine in FreeBSD:

andrew@andrew-laptop> dmesg | grep iwn0
iwn0: <Intel(R) WiFi Link 5100> mem 0xf8000000-0xf8001fff irq 17 at device 0.0 on pci4

I've only been using Chrome on this build, so I don't even have Flash installed outside of Chrome's built-in support.
