Hi!!!
I recently upgraded my samsung netbook from 10.10 to 11.04.
Now it has wireles problems. Before i used my netbook as wi-fi router. I was connecting my pocket pc to netbook via wi-fi, then connecting to internet ,since netbook is connected to internet there were no problems. But with ubuntu 11.04, wi-fi which is routed from my netbook cannot be found(phone pocketpc notebook all can`t find it).
My netbook is not routing properly. Why???:o

Is everything OK with your netbook wifi? Is it really working?
Test your netbook's wifi, make sure it's enabled.
Post the output of

ifconfig

See which wifi networks are available in other devices:

iwlist scan

Where did you do

iwlist scan
Do it not on the netbook, but on an other device.
If it's seen, then I think it won't be difficult to connect to it.

P.S. As far as I understood ppp0 interface is facing Internet.
To make your netbook work as a router run these commands one by one as root:

iptables --table nat --append POSTROUTING --out-interface ppp0 -j MASQUERADE
iptables --append FORWARD --in-interface wlan0 -j ACCEPT
iptables-save
If there isn't a problem devices, connected to qwerty should have Internet access.

I'm not familiar with Windows and I think someone else could be much more helpful in this case. Or you can run some Linux from LiveCD and provide me with results.

I am also facing same problem. But in my case sometimes wifi router works. It will work for few minutes and will automatically disconnect and then my phone will not be able to find that hotspot again.
