I just did a fresh install of ubuntu 10.04 and the network manager is missing. The icon is still there but it doesn't have an option for changing options. I wish i could do a print screen of the menu but the print screen isn't working while a menu is open.

When I try to run "nm-applet" in terminal i get this:

ubuntu@ubuntu-desktop:~$ nm-applet
An instance of nm-applet is already running.

** (nm-applet:2640): WARNING **: <WARN> constructor(): Couldn't initialize the D-Bus manager.

ubuntu@ubuntu-desktop:~$

Thanks
