Digg This! (http://digg.com/software/Ubuntu_Center_renamed_to_iCenterX_with_support_for _all_distros)
Ubuntu Center has been renamed to iCenterX and will be adding support for all distros of Linux and Mac OS X soon. This change will expand our userbase of testers resulting in a much better and less buggy product.
Good news, Ubuntu Center has a new name, iCenter X, and with this new name comes support for virtually all Linux distros and Mac OS X. This change was requested by dozens of people. I had planned to release a version for all distros later this year but yesterday I decided it would be better to do while the project is young. I am going to try my best to have a release of iCenterX out sometime in the next 2 weeks, I encourage people to continue downloading Ubuntu Center (if you run Ubuntu) until then. Unfortunately the theme system I talked about a few days ago won't be ready yet for that release but I assure you it is getting there, as is module support. We also have a new domain http://icenterx.info (yes I know .info is cheesy), update your bookmarks...I guess
Thanks to the people who have supported Ubuntu Center with donations, ideas, etc.
School is almost over for me so I will have lots of time to develop iCenterX this summer.
