I have a Ubuntu desktop with two wired network cards. I am currently sharing the internet to my laptop through ethernet. Ubuntu on my laptop connects flawlessly without any problem. Windows on my laptop on the other hand will not connect at all.

I tried resetting all TCP/IP and setting the DNS and IP manually with no success. Windows just states that "a network cable is unplugged".

When i boot windows i notice on my ubuntu desktop that eth1 is connected and then disconnects by the time i hit my login screen on windows.

Anyone have any suggestions?
