I have a 5 year old Dell Inspiron 1501 with a ATI Radeon Xpress 200m and every 30 minutes or so the screen gets all funky when i minimize windows. I had a hard time putting into words so i took screeshots.

I'm using Ubuntu Classic and i think the xorg driver. I currently don't have a battery and i've googled my eyes out trying to find someone else who's had this issue.
Can anyone give me some advice? Thanks.
