Sometime ago I received 10 Gmail invitations to pass out to friends. And I did. I've received 4 more. Like many folks, I have several webmail accounts for a varity of reasons. But I use my Gmail for personal use. I love it and think you would too. If anyone is interested, email me with you address and I'll send it to you. First come, first serve.

I checked and have 50 also. Before today, I had 4-5 left. I was thinking about the concept of "invites" before. Is that not a great way to promote a product? It appears Google has done a good job at creating a demand. :-k

An invitation to use gmail. Gmail is google's awesome new free webmail service. I have 50 myself, so PM one of the posters with your email address and I'm sure you will get a shiny new invite for yourself. :)

It's in beta right now so the only way you can get an account is to get an "invite" from someone who's already signed up.

Weird, that's odd, when did you guys make your accounts. I made my first one about 6 months ago and I have 7 there, the second one made about 2 weeks later has 6, and the third one made about 3 weeks later has 10. I haven't sent out any on either of those accounts since they regenerated themselves last.

Anyway, I'm adding meself to the list of people who have some to give away.

My own gmail acc't is used only for email lists and spam. It see's action every day - but it's not me; it's just incoming.

I don't ever trust any entities with a population greater than 3 anyway - so I delete my mail bi-monthly. Super-ultra-mega-delete. (Yeah - I wish)

Deletes take Google some time to purge, however - if'n you're conscious of the 180 day thing, I think it takes Google a month or more to clean up.

I don't really use mine, I don't care one way or the other if I have a gmail account. A friend of mine (ahem) was relentless with his invites...I oblidged.

Big wup.

I only log into my acc't to "invite" others and delete all mail.

After a short while I believe you should get them, I think I got the ability to send invites within a week or two.

It used to be the case that the more you used the account the more invites you get. So maybe it depends on how much you use your account.

PS-I tested this link and their service does work. I had them send me an invite, they did and I was able to sign up successfully. I am sending them my 50 invites.

With my old hotmail accounts i just left them for 30 days i think it was, and when the last login barrier was past 30 days they delete / deactivate your account so you cant use it anymore, although they do give you the option to reactivate it but im sure if you dont bother after so long they completly delete your account maybe?

Also for anyone that wants a gmail invite, i still have over 1 hundred of them lol.. so give me an alternate email address ( either in here or PM, either ways fine ) to which i can email the invitation to and ill send one right away.
