A new install on a 64 bit rig. Ubuntu2D works fine but Ubuntu3D just a nice desktop. No side panel launcher.Gnome shell works sometimes. No terminal available, all I do is reboot. Any ideas? I've installed 3 times in 3 days 2 different isos, don't want to do it again. Thanks

Thanks dornot23d for your reply. Unity was ticked. I solved it by getting to tty and "unity --reset". It when through lots of script, when it finally quit, back to tty and reboot.
