Greetings, I'm running:

Linux 3.0.0-9-generic #15-Ubuntu SMP Tue Aug 30 14:57:16 UTC 2011 x86_64 x86_64 x86_64 GNU/Linux

Whenever a connect or disconnect ACPI event is triggered it causes a kernel panic on my DELL Inspiron Duo.

I've tried going through dmesg, kern.log and syslog to find some of the strings that the stack trace prints, but no luck.

Anyone else having this issue?

Thanks

you might add pci=noacpi into /etc/default/grub (before: quiet splash)
then: sudo update-grub
