I think you're talking about Cedega (http://www.transgaming.com/).

Just an FYI, the number of Windows games that run under either of programs is not terribly high. You may want to look up the games you'll want to play in Windows application database at http://appdb.winehq.org.
Cedega also has a similar database at http://transgaming.org/gamesdb/.
Edit: There are also a number of commercial Windows games, including just about everything from iD software. (Quake, Doom, Unreal, etc) Wikipedia has a full list (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_Commercial_Linux_Games). Happy Penguin (http://www.happypenguin.org/) is also an excellent source for Linux gamers.

Is Cedega easy to install and use? The games I will be playing will be kinda old ex. call of duty. The most recent game would probably be painkiller.

if you downloads their .deb package:
sudo dpkg -i XXXXXXX.deb
or if you in Dapper you just double click on it.

Aye, Cedega is easy to use. It has a GUI based installer, configuration, and program launcher. Wine has no UI (except for winecfg), but is still, in my opinion, fairly easy to use.

Try the games under Wine, then try Cedega...
You could also opt to just dual boot, as I do.. Warcraft 3 plays very slowly in Wine :(

Lord Illian, if WC III plays slowly for you in Wine there is a problem besides Wine. It runs fantastic for me, even better than on Windows to be honest.
