I just installed Ubuntu on my Asus eee pad transformer. Its a touch pad without a keyboard. I was wondering if there is a way to access the on screen keyboard without a keyboard? I cant get past the login screen.
The other guys that have ubuntu working have the dock with they keyboard, I dont have the money for that right now lol. Thanks in advance!!

Tap the little man figure on the bottom right & select keyboard.
The keyboard is called onboard, you'll need to set it in accessabilty for the desktop to.

This would work if I had a keyboard. I just have a touch screen, thats it.
Tap the little man figure on the bottom right & select keyboard.

So I went to the Control Center and Assistive Technoligies> Preferred Applications> onBoard and I select "Run on start" but it never comes on. Instead, Orca runs in the beginning.

I finally got it, had to use something called adb shell to get into it but it finally worked. I dont think you can access onboard any other way from the initial setup screen. Thank you so much for your help!!
