Hi,

I think I may have hit a bug in the Mozilla Firefox browser version 3.6.20. How do I report it?

But to report a bug in Firefox he/she should go to the Mozilla website.

Use the Mozilla Bugzilla website (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/) to report all bugs for Firefox. However, you are using a quite outdated version of Firefox and it may no longer exist. I recommend the Firefox PPA (https://launchpad.net/~mozillateam/+archive/firefox-stable) to upgrade to the latest stable version.

Firefox 3.6.20 was released last week or so (https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/3.6.20/releasenotes/) and is still being maintained. Firefox 4 has reached the end of life. Odd? yes.

Dear all,

Thanks a lot for your contributions.

I didn't know that 3.6.20 was a relatively old version of Firefox.

Rather than trying to complain about 3.6.20 I decided to upgrade to 6.0 (the most recent stable version I believe). For this I used a method referred as "ppa repository". It needs some command line code I found in one of the "sticky" documents by "lovinglinux".

And... it worked, i.e. I now use Firefox 6.0 and the specific problem/bug I had with the old 3.6.20 has disapeared.:P

So far I have not encountered any problems although Firefox 6.0 is not the recommended version for Ubuntu 10.04.

Good day to all of you
