I'm trying to share files between an Ubuntu 11.04 machine and one running Windows 7. I set up Samba, but it doesn't work. On the Linux machine it keeps asking for a username and password, even though the Windows machine doesn't have one. On the Windows machine, I see the Linux box and the shared folder, but when I click on it I get "Windows cannot access (shared folder). I also get Error Code 0x80070035 The network path was not found. How can it show me the server and folder names, but not have found the network path? I'm totally confused. Can someone help me? Thanks.
