ShuttlePRO v2?

I want to buy a ShuttlePRO v2 by Contour Design (http://retail.contourdesign.com/?/products/23) and tried to research how well this works under linux but haven't found much.

Does anyone have any experience with this, or similar, device? Is it recognized?, Does the buttons/wheel work? Can I program the buttons?
