Hi all
My LiDE 30 worked fine for years although I don't use it very often. I am still on Ubuntu 10.04 and some time in the last 6 months I suspect an update has broken something because both Xsane and simple scan report no device present on starting up the program. However, lsusb finds the scanner, if I run sane-find-scanner in a terminal it finds the scanner ok but if I run scanimage --L then I get 'no SANE devices found' reported. The scanner is correctly listed in the config file, it doesn't matter which USB ports I use, front or back and the scanner works fine on my shuttle downstairs running Mythbuntu 11.04.
Can anyone shed any light on this I would be really grateful.
