how can i install video driver in ubuntu? my laptop is Dell n4010.. please help.

Intel Cards are (usually) supported as default.

ATI/nVidia:
a mode: Open Source Driver>> System> Administration> Additional Driivers> Active
b mode: Main Driver>> Download the right driver within ati.com or nvidia.com you will posses a run file:

chmod +x name.run
./name.run

Linux is not Windows -- you don't just go charging off installing drivers.

If you're seeing a desktop, you ALREADY have video drivers installed.

If you're having problems with the video, then describe those. It may not be a driver-related problem.
