I want to install the bind package below (I do not need the default version that I can get using apt-get install bind9)
I have downloaded the package below:
Bind Package http://ftp.isc.org/isc/bind/9.4.3/bind-9.4.3.tar.gz
Unzipped , compiled , make and make installed .. package is installed under \usr\local\sbin
but I cannot start stop bind services using standard \etc\inet.d\bind9 [Start|Stop|Restart .. ]
Please Help !
