Hello to all.
I just installed the latest version of Ubuntu.
I dont like this launcer of menuse etc on the left side of my screen. I prefer the original old style of desktop with the menus on the top of the screen.
How can I change it? Thank you!!!

no love for unity!?

fear not, lots of people dont like it.

logout, (or boot up) and at the login screen at the bottom is a menu to pick your "session" click that and choose "Ubuntu Classic Desktop" and u'll b back to how it was :-)

The "old style" is no longer maintained by its developers, so it won't be available in Ubuntu 11.10.

You should try getting used to either the Unity interface (the default in 11.04) which will be improved in 11.10, or try a different desktop environment such as XFCE, LXDE, or KDE.

In Ubuntu 11.10 you'll also have the option of Gnome Shell from Gnome 3, which is also a really nice desktop environment. Unity is improving in 11.10 too.
