Hi.

I am having trouble installing correctly the Citrix Receiver (32bits app) on my Ubuntu 11.04 64bits installation. I found a few links on Internet on how to do it but none seems to be the key to make it work with the 64bits version of 11.04. I made sure that all the 32bits libraries were available. As mentionned on the citrix.com website, OpenMotif v.2.3.1 was installed before.

These are the pages that I used to give me ideas:

https://wiki.ubuntu.com/InstallingCitrix
http://www.quzart.com/notes/8-citrix-receiver-ica-client-linux-x64/index.xhtml

The last one is quite useful but for some reason that I don't understand yet, is not working with the 11.04.

I am using Firefox with a XenApp portal. I was able to successfully install the Citrix Receiver on a 11.04 32bits installation and connect with Firefox to the same XenApp portal.

Anyone with an idea on how to make it work? Am I missing something?

Regards.
Will

I've tried countless times go get this working on 64 bit systems. The only way I can Receiver to work on a 64 bit system is to run the Windows version in Wine, or use a virtual machine. . .

Thanks for your feedback pi.boy.travis

Using a Windows virtual machine is what I'm planning to do at the moment. But I'm still trying to find out how to make the Citrix Recevier work using an Ubuntu 11.04 64bits virtual machine :D
