I want to try Ubuntu on a new PC that I'm building. Can anyone confirm that the Gigabyte GA-H67MA-UD2H-B3 motherboard works perfectly in Ubuntu? I will be using the integrated graphics.

As far as my experience goes,Ubuntu is very happy with intel intergrated graphics and works perfectly out of the box,i dont know about the rest of the board but there shouldnt be any problems at all.

I can't vouch for that card directly, but Gigabyte is one of the brands with better support for Linux.

I have owned this motherboard, and it was a piece of junk. Everything was compatible with Ubuntu, but the SATA controller was flaky and the BIOS would frequently mis-detect the RAM timing and frequency. It crashed a lot too. ASUS motherboards are my favorite, I've had several and they're all rock-solid.

:) Thats very useful, the consensus seems to be that it will work. But maybe I should investigate alternatives. Thanks to all replies. It looks like the ubuntu community is as good as I was told.
