I started a thread about wine. but it was deleted or moved. I hope this will stay. I'm having problems with Wine. IL'lve changed the permissions in properties, but they don't seem to be execuatables according to Ubuntu..

You mean you can't execute windows .exe files? For using programs under WINE, you don't actually execute the executables themselves, but rather you pass them to WINE as a parameter. For example, to run a program called HelloWorld.exe on your Desktop, type:
wine ~/Desktop/HelloWorld.exe

I tried that. The terminal says it couldn't find it.
