Hi there :)

To begin with. Wine is updated. The PPA is setup. Everything looks alright.

I've been trying to run exe files for sometime and have been unable to. Which is kinda ticking me off. Now I'm trying to run the setup for DDO.

I have googled this time and time again, and it seems to be an issue with wine.

pantalaimon@rnoon-tower:~/Downloads$ wine ddostandard.exe

From the looks of it, you're not running 'ddostandard.exe' from within the 'C:' drive.

Try copying all the files you've accumulated to install that program to a folder inside the 'C:' drive, something like
/home/<USER>/.wine/drive_c/WHATEVER
Substitute '<USER> with the username, and WHATEVER with whatever you want ("setupDDO" should work.

Then, run the setup from that folder.
