Ok...everything else works on this motherboard, but not my USB ports (works well in Windows XP and Mandrake 10.1).
So if anyone out there has this motherboard (is for the 'old' AMD Socket), please tell me if it works for you.
I made a bug report on it

I saw this on another forum:
My motherboard apparently has USB 2.0 support (http://www.msicomputer.com/product [...] 2_platinum) but for some reason it isn't working... I never noticed before because I would use Firewire for my iPod. But, the new iPod doesn't support Firewire with Windows, so I have to use USB.
The key to knowing you have USB 2.0 enabled is in device manager, under USB, it has something along the lines of "Enhanced USB Controller." My system is lacking "Enhanced." There is no BIOS setting to turn on 2.0 or not, it is just to enable the USB controller.
I have the latest BIOS installed, and the latest nForce drivers. Any thoughts would be appreciated.
I got it working.... Deleted the drivers, disabled USB in BIOS, re-enabled, reinstalled drivers.
Good luck with your issue. I have the same board and it shorted out my PSU and burned out the USB ports... I got it replaced but am now having new issues with USB... maybe a sign of a future burn-out....

I've been running the same board for 2 yrs 2 mos with no problems. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. Mine has been a real joy to work with and I plan on leaving it in for a couple more years. Of course, I just built a Phenom system that's a real rip-snorter and I've been spending all my time on it!
