View Full Version : GxMame doesn't show anything!

In gxmame i need to put the bios (mame bios, i have the all pack, neo geo/cps 2 and so on) where?? i have put some roms on the rom directory...but when scanning don't appears anything!!!!!!!!

Im to the point where Im download vmware just to install xp just to play mame games :( .

I just run xmame in open gl with
xmame -x11 3 <romname>

Would be nice to have gui, but never got gxmame to work.

The problem it's GxMame version.
It can't read the last version of xmame list of roms.
Compile the latest version of gxmame, download the 0.35beta version from here:

http://sourceforge.net/project/showfiles.php?group_id=50621&package_id=44329&release_id=301071

Now it works perfect for me! 8)

Great the list is formed, but all the roms are not function!! why?? If i play any rom, a lot of file are missing..

Did you have the bios needed in the right directory, sorry for the questions but sometimes we can just forget about it.....

and remember that for instance neoragex roms lots of them are not compatible with mame ones

the mame end in .bin and neorage in .rom
