It is called learning.

If you are having so much trouble, purchase a system with opensource pre-installed (rather then windows).

Maybe try a computer instead of a hair cutting device?

I still have the Wahl Taper clipper that my mother used to give me a #2 buzz cut from 1966. And it still works. But it doesn't run linux. :(

Ive ran GW and World of Warcraft, but never a pair of hair clippers... Why would you use a lap top to operate a pair of hair clippers?

I believe (could be wrong) that the OP is using a slang term for what they think is their fast PC(s). Clip as in shorten pace. It appears the OP was simply venting and might not wish to respond, we may never know.

The OP did choose the right section of the forums to start this thread. In doing so, there's no mandate that they must respond to other members. I'm surprised that more threads in this section aren't single post threads by OP's.

It may be closed (don't see why), but I doubt it will be deleted. As even bodhi.zazen only responded with a common sense approach.

Why should this thread be closed? The topic is - a member coming to the T&E to vent their frustration. Seems logical (to me) since this section of the forums is specifically for testimonials and feedback from members. In essence, a place on the forums for members to share their experiences - including venting.

I realize some members may feel slighted should another member start a thread in this section and not engage in any discourse. But nothing in the sectional guidelines mandates that an OP must respond to postings in their thread by other members. IMHO no member starting a thread (in this section) should feel forced to respond, any more than those who pick and choose which threads they post to.

As I stated in my previous post:

I'm surprised that more threads in this section aren't single post threads by OP's.

So have we even figured out what clipper is besides hair? Im sorry that he has not figured our how to use Linux. Maybe we should figure out what clippers are and tell him how to use it. But oh well. this is now a vent thead. Ventrillo is a mediocre windows voip program. your thoughts? and yes Im a horrrrrilbe typist/speller...lol
