Installing plug-ins on Audacity

I downloaded the following plug-ins:

swh-plugins-0.4.15.tar.gz

http://plugin.org.uk/releases/0.4.15/

but I don't know how to make them work at all

The Audacity folder is here :

File System/usr/share/Audacity

swh-plugins is available in the Ubuntu repositories! You should only install software from the Ubuntu repositories whenever possible.

Open Synaptic Package Manager (you'll need your root password), scroll down the list of software, find swh-plugins, Mark it for installation and click Apply.

Done.
