It's the right driver. It's called Fire GL and Radeon for X (windows system), or fglrx. It pretains to your GPU, not CPU. I suppose you installed it via the Additional driver utility. Are you having problems with graphics?

The corrupted screen at boot is usual, it's a known issue. There are workarounds, but i suggest you don't attempt them yet, because they can mess your sh*t up bad. As for the game, maybe you can try to tweak things via the Control Center.
Open the Dash, and type in ATI Catalyst, you'll get two options - Control center, and Control center administrative. Pick the administrative one.
But you have the driver. if you want to change things up, you can uninstall it via the Additional driver utility, and install one directly from ATI. use at your own discretion.

Click the ubuntu logo in the top left, and type in "ATI Catalyst control Center". i'm not sure what you mean by "and to install a extern driver that had get from your link". First try the options in the CC. installing the driver manually might prove a little difficult if you're brand new to Linux.

i already did that but it's only had bad effect on my Asus
first of all if i install the driver like we sad the ATI/AMD then it make my laptop a lot slower and less hd
so i had it remove again and now work my Asus a lot faster, and about the screen it's become horrible
it should i other way to fix this
