View Full Version : [ubuntu] sugarsync better than dropbox

several reasons sugar sync beats dropbox:

1. 5.5 gigs v 2 off bat.
2. Works on all cells. Only option for symbian.
3. More flexible sync options that dont make undesired copies of files.
4. dropbox always garbles my voip pap2t even when db not uploading or downloading.

But needs a ubuntu ap.

I am not affiliated with sugarsync, so am not some spammer. How well they keep up the service and my free account will determine my ultimate satisfaction. (For example, I have found a number of free hosting and dyndns services--but all sucked because they would revoke my account without explanation after 6 months, in an attempt to get me to upgrade, though they wouldn't come out and say that.)

I haven't emailed sugarsync about linux or ubuntu. But how hard would it to write a script to login and sync automatically, like the current client? In Windows, scripting tools abound and take 10 minutes of reading to start writing complex scripts.
