I visited website, and signed up e- newsletter, although Firefox showed warning tab the site was untrusted or unsecured.

next day,
i received spam in my mail box.
what can i do?

spam in mailboxes is ubiquitous. What proof do you have that the above sites were involved ? Did you hand out your email to an unknown person ?

You really need to examine your internet behavior. Please send me your banking information , I will make sure your account is clean =)

Now what are we supposed to do? You give somebody your email address and then you receive spam. You need to change your behaviour, else the same will happen next time.
I would suggest you get a good spam filter and also get an email address dedicated to newsletter and such things. That way it doesn't do much damage if you get spam since it goes to a different email address.
