when i want to play tuxkart or tuxracer my graphics are terribly corrupted

my 3dcard is properly configured, i play enemy territory without problems

anyone knows a solution?

That's truly bizarre. Have you got any weird hardware we should know about? I know that my old video card which only had 64mb on it couldn't handle savage quite right, so some models would explode, such that all the polygons went off in different directions across the map.

weird hardware? Not i know of: P4 2.6 - 512mb ram - ati radeon 9600pro - 2*120gb HD - muse lt soundcard

so pretty normal i guess? The weird thing is that enemy territory works like a charm :confused:

I've had that before on my Radeon 9800 Pro. I could play ET fine, too; Tuxracer just plain screwed up on me. After switching to the newest ATI drivers (either ATI's site, or in the Hoary repos), it began to work fine... So your only real choice is to upgrade drivers.
