Ubuntu 10.04 doesn't respond in any way to having this device plugged in. nothing in dmesg or fdisk -l.
The light comes on! but I was hoping for more than that.
The disk works in windows.

Any ideas would be appreciated.

Regards,
Daniel

Has anyone got one of these working in any version of ubuntu?
I'm really interested to find out why nothing happens when I plug it in.

Thanks for the link. I didn't know about googlubutu, it looks very handy. Unfortunately no posts there that I have not read already.
I look like I need to consign this to the in-compatability list.
