View Full Version : [SOLVED] Ubuntu showing Floppy0, but I don't have a floppy drive!

I've just upgraded my computer, but am using the hard drives from my previous one. Ubuntu is reporting I have a floppy0, but there is no floppy drive installed. My previous computer did have one, but my present one doesn't. Is there any way to reconfigure Ubuntu to remove floppy0?

Also, when I insert a memory stick into one of the USB ports, Ubuntu doesn't see it.

Ubuntu DOES see my hard drive and my CDROM drive.

Has anyone else had this problem? If so, was it cured?

Thanks in advance.
