Right now I'm looking into getting an HP 4420s as a few here have had good experiences with running Ubuntu on it. The problem is that according to the HP site, it has one of the following four wireless chipsets:

Intel Centrino 802.11a/b/g/n
Atheros 802.11b/g/n
Broadcom 802.11b/g
Ralink 802.11b/g/n Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 + HS Combo

It is also has one of three, or probably two of the following three graphics chipsets:

Intel HD Graphics (integrated)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 530v with 512 MB dedicated video memory (discrete)
ATI Mobility Radeon HD 5470 with 512 MB dedicated video memory (discrete)

Is there any way that I can find out if a laptop is truly compatible or not? I've dealt with unsupported hardware before and it was a real pain.
