When i booted up from the cd and just did the "try ubuntu" the wifi worked fine. Once i installed it on the hard drive it doesn't register the wifi. I have no idea what do to. I am duel booting the 6,2 macbook pro i7. No wired connections in my apartment so im having to go back and forth between OSX and ubuntu. Any help here would be great! Im desperate.

If you open update manager then settings down the bottom. Select ubuntu software down the bottom select cd, make sure cd is in draw then try update and update drivers it should then look on the cd

I found that when i try and active the broadcom STA wireless driver i get this error. "Please have a look at the log file for details: /var/log/jockey.log" would this have anything to do with my problem?

I did the update from cd and and i am using a wired connection. Neither pull updates because i already updated. But the drivers have the broadcom STA wireless driver available and not activated.
