Was wondering if anyone had a idea on how to install this wireless adapter onto a computer thats running Ubuntu. I don't have access to a direct connection so that won't work. So I need a way that I could install it without internet, I do have access to another computer that i could get files off of if needed. So if someone could help me out or point me in the right direction would be very appreciated. :) Thanks.

I've tried that one, but once I got to installing drivers part, I wasn't quiet sure what to do, cause i tried the first command it told me to do, and it didnt work, and i did everything else step by step exactly i think. so i thought maybe there'd be a more simple guide or maybe im doing something wrong.

No problem. I have a WG111 (attached to one of my many computers) which works, but see my rant here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1695691

Check to see which diver you are using. This is most easily done by clicking on the network icon in your panel/task bar and selecting "Connection Information". Post back here.

Thanks Steve. And well finally got it working, and feel quite stupid for this, but all I had to do was simply unplug it and plug it back in and boom. -.- Don't know why I didn't think of that before.
