Ok, So I have an nvidia FX1800M and trying to run a dual monitor setup. I can get into the nvidia control panel and it sees the external monitors. I then set them up and apply the settings, viola, works perfectly. However when I restart, the settings are no longer applied.
I don't mind having to dock and undock with the power off. What I would like to be able to do is have an startup script determine if the monitors are connected and then apply whatever settings if they are. Or just a script to force the dual monitor setup that can be ran from the prompt, if that's easier.
Has anyone done this? I'm sorry if it's been said already on the forum, I was unable to find anything in my searches.
