Before I attempt an install of NWN, I thought I would ask if any present users have any experience with it. Does it run well? Any issues I should know about before hand? I was close about a year ago with slackware 9.1 but had some sort of GL issue I couldn't figure out. At this point I am only running an ATI Radeon 7500 so I know what to expect for performance, but its good enough for the time being. That and the whole being on a budget thing LOL

the only problem you might have is using your ATI card. the proprietary ATI drivers in warty are not amazing. many people have had problems, not to say you will, but some have.

anyways, i run neverwinter nights orig, shadows and hordes and i have no problems at all with it. i can even play on gamespy. might want to check these sites for info on how to install.

Only problem I found after the install is that the mouse won't work very well, because you cannot enable the hardware mouse. There is a workaround for that but is too complex for me at this point. Also use a ATI card and while it didn't look as good as under windows it was playable.

I have played NWN under Debian Linux for quite some time. Never had any problems. I am using a Nvidia card though.
