changing from ubuntu to kubuntu

Hi everyone,

I am been using Ubuntu 11.04 Gnome for a month now.

I'm thinking of changing and using Kubuntu 11.04 KDE,
because to me It looks (great)

I'm going to try the live CD first & go from there.

If I do like it & I want to install it, can I run it along side Ubuntu so when I start up will have two options?

Step one
Please open up a terminal and type in

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
thenn update and install kde

sudo apt-get update && sudo apt-get install kubuntu-desktop

this will take an hour or so when you will be givin a blue screen just hi enter a couple of times (or set it up the way you like)

next after install is done log off then log back on but switch the session to kde plasma and sign in there you go kde
